DECOYS

8"x10" acrylic on Masonite panel
$125

Always looking for something new and fun to paint I stumbled on to my old bag of hunting decoys. I used to spend a lot of time out in the tide flats at the mouth of the Columbia with my faithful hunting companion Morgan the Springer Spaniel.
That dog had a one track mind. She was always scanning the sky for birds.
We'd set out a half dozen or so decoys and then sit in the tall grass and shiver waiting for some hapless duck to fly by. Once in a while I'd actually get one or two!
