I don't know what got into me but I suddenly wanted to paint the old bumper cars. They are a landmark in my home town. I might do a couple. I can hear the bell ring and the grinding-whirring noise as they skoot around the metal floor. Lots of screaming and laughing and the bang! of the collision. After all these years the same old cars in the same location every day in the summer...Seaside Oregon...what a place!
What a great idea and a really nice painting! I love bumper cars.
ReplyDeleteAh‚ I'm 5 again.
ReplyDeleteStanding in line‚ with my Pronto Pup‚ marveling at the dodge-ems as Maggie & Jiggs look on.

ReplyDeleteAnd Lord, if I may call you Lord,(sounds ominous)you must be from Seaside or you wouldn't know about the Pronto Pup stand next to the bumper cars and also you wouldn't know that the back wall of the place had images of Maggie and Jiggs. so Lord, who are you??
