SEA TREASURES
6x6" acrylic on Masonite panel
$100SOLD
Glass balls.....Japanese floats...whatever you call them... they are real treasures. Only once in a blue moon do you find them washed ashore anymore. Most people in our neck of the woods had a few laying around the house or the yard when I was a kid and you could find them pretty easily if you went to the beach during a Sou-wester. Some were as large as basketballs. Most were this size..about 6" diameter. They were what the Japanese fishing fleet used to keep their nets afloat. My wife spends a lot of time on the beach and still finds the rare one sometimes.
