This is what they look like before cooking. They're about 5-10 inches across the back and those claws can really do some damage! You haven't lived 'till one of these guys unexpectedly crawls over your bare feet while you're standing in the surf. It's amazing how high you can jump!

This old fly rig was my grandfather's. He was a country boy who grew up fishing on the Lewis and Clark river and a do-it -yourselfer. This reel has had the handle replaced with a piece of pencil with tape wrapped around it. It's so old I don't dare fish with it but  it's cool to look at.

I've got a bunch of these old antique salmon plugs. They're about 9 inches long and come in a variety of styles. A big lure for a big fish! Beleive it or not this was difficult to paint. Come on all you fishemen out there(and fishemen's wives) this would look great on your wall! A piece of salmon fishing history.

LITTLE ELEPHANT

One of my personal favorites. This little guy has been around a long time. He was standing on my grandparents floor my entire childhood and I've had him since they passed on. Probably just a cheap plaster of Paris thing but he's worth a lot to me. Makes a good subject for painting. Lots of reflective surface and although he's black  there is no black paint in this.
